Sunde, Sunde, and Edgington

November brought us some dear old friends: Jon, Jason, and Jesse. We met these guys while living in Eau Claire. They're good Midwestern men who appreciate the change of seasons, because without such change, there would be no real winter, and every Midwesterner knows that it is in winter when you make the most friends. Amidst the snowfall, warm hearts gather at concerts and coffee shops, uniting over a thermometer that reads thirty below.

That's how we got to know these gents. The concerts we went to were theirs. And the success of those concerts is what brought them this way. They made their first west coast tour, stopping for a couple of days to visit us and explore Bellingham.

Jon, Jason, and Jesse, it was really, really good to see you, and to hear you. We look forward to your next visit. We're "not the same without you, without you."

And, for those of you who haven't blessed your ears yet, look these guys up: http://www.myspace.com/thedaredevilchristopherwright

They played some hellar good new stuff, too, but, dang, I do love the taste of nostalgia.
