This is a boat hanging out in Bellingham Bay. In the background in the loading dock for the Alaskan Marine Highway Ferry. That boat is some kind of commercial freighter, though.

As a teenager, I harbored a disdain for shorts and flip-flops. Me at Marine Park with the pooches.
And one more photo of the boardwalk to Boulevard Park. It pretty much looks like this every single night of the summer. You can't see it in the photo, but to the right of the boat there's an entire range of big 'ol mountains. Boom.
Looks like a nice place to kayak. Dad is going to have to hold me back until next summer.
