Archer Ale House

We went to the Archer Ale House this evening. The Ale house is located in Fairhaven; about a two minute walk from the boathouse. It's a great little pub located in the basement of an old building. They have plenty of board games to play as well as authentic darts. A tableful of old guys with rosy cheeks and thick sweaters were sharing pitchers of Guiness. I don't know much about Irish pubs, but the Archer Ale House seemed pretty legit. One thing I'll have a hard time getting used to is the price of beer in Washington. Don't get me wrong, Washington has some amazing microbrews. But $4 a pint is unusual to me. I'm used to getting two pints for that price. There are some things I'll miss about Wisconsin.

Update: We went to our local grocer to purchase some breakfast items. However, it was nearly 10 PM and other patrons were still purchasing beer. Can't get that in the Badger State!
