Trudy and Merri's Polar Bear Plunge

While everyone else was out shopping or home sleeping the day after Christmas, we took advantage of the sunshine. The girls hopped in the car and we drove out to one of our favorite parks. It boasts a lovely view of Mt. Baker and a chunk of river shoreline where the girls like to play.


Trudy waited almost nine years and trudged through a lot of Wisconsin winters before being able to take this polar bear plunge, but, boy, was it ever worth the wait.



We played fetch a lot ...





... dug for treasure a little ...

... and rounded things off with some wrestling...



It was a really good day.
