A week and a half after our own wedding, we attended the wedding of our friends, Brandice and John. The celebration was held at Brandice's sister's place on the Olympic Peninsula. Having recently gotten married ourselves, Mike and I went into this thing with a whole new perspective. We appreciated every piece of home-made goodness at the party, and we also took it upon ourselves to keep Brandice's wine glass and John's beer mug full. Trust me, take this duty upon yourself at the next wedding you attend, and you will quickly earn some serious friend points.
We took the girls with and camped in the Subaru. Subaru Outbacks are great for shacking up in a pinch. Fold the back seats down and recline the front seats all the way and you've got a perfect little slumber hut for two people and a couple of Aussies. We enjoyed a walk by the coast in the morning and then headed to Port Townsend for some crepes before catching the ferry home.
Yes, you're math is spot on. 3 crepes. 2 people. Yep.
Brandice, I hope you're enjoying your wife powers. Isn't married life great? We think so.
