Just Because

I'm a firm believer that gifts and correspondences shouldn't be reserved for holidays alone. I get rather excited when I have friends that believe the same. Thus, we have this post. Upon returning from a trip to the Midwest, Jessica (my sister-in-law), delivered a gift from my old friend Jake, who is spending his summer in Ely, Minnesota. It was as good as it looks...

Jessica made things all the merrier by bringing Mike and me a couple o' cupcakes she made herself. I don't know if they'd sell better at a gay-pride fest or Care Bear carnival, but I think she's on to something big. They, too, were as good as they look...

So, Jake, Jessica, thanks for the "just because" party favors. You're pretty awesome, to say the least.
