Just before we moved out of the boathouse--which is a story onto itself, believe me--T and walked down to our favorite pub in Fairhaven, the Archer Ale House. "Date Night," we called it. They have excellent beer on tap, served English-style, which is apparently beer-code for "room temperature." I might have mentioned it before, but the pubs and taverns out here don't have electronic dartboards like establishments in Wisconsin. While we really enjoy it, sometimes I think it's a mixed bag. The authenticity of metal-tipped darts makes the experience much more memorable, but I miss the option of being able to choose from a handful of different games and all the beeps and buzzes of the electronic boards. And let's face it: sharp objects in the hands of Wisconsin drunks is a dangerous idea. The reason metal-tipped darts work so well in Washington is because no-one can afford to drink more than a pitcher or two before the wallet runs dry. Anyway, we had a great time and remembered to bring the camera AND remembered that we have video capabilities. And no, I'm not embarrassed that Tera beat me.

You got beat by a women? The Wisconsin lumberjack ancestors are rolling in their graves. I'll send out the dress. I know, size medium.
